Is dan stevens gay

In the new Netflix political thriller series Zero Day, the handsome Dan Stevens stars opposite Robert DeNiro as a Ben Shapiro-esque media personality, skewering the right-wing blowhard personalities who have been weaponizing the internet of late.

But that’s not the only way Stevens has endeared himself to gay fans—he’s on Grindr, too! Well, once. Sort of.

“I’ve had friends who’ve shown me apps. I remember a buddy who showed me the early days of Grindr,” Stevens recalled. “We were on Broadway and just to show me what sort of the radar was–we were in the basement of a Broadway theater—he showed me, and he was like, ‘Well, this guy is 750 feet away.’ I was fond of, ‘What are you talking about?’ And it was just like all these little dots of all these horny gay men sort of circling us. So I was love, ‘Oh my God, this is terrifying.'”

First of all, your “friend” was just “showing you the radar”? Okay, sure Jan Dan. We know he’s not above “beating men off,” as shown in the below viral clip:

We’re kidding! But you’ve got to laugh that Stevens was aware enough to clock that all those “little dots” on the hook-up app represented “horny lgbtq+ men” in the area. Malkin clocked that, t

Dan Stevens plays a closeted Russian popstar in Netflix’s Eurovision movie

In much of the promotional material released so far, it is clear that Stevens will be the antagonist to Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams’ Icelandic underdogs. But Lemtov will have more layers than the one-dimensional baddie we saw in the trailer.

Stevens tells Attitude that the character has a big secret — he’s LGBTQ. This is significant given that Alexander is from Russia, specifically Chechnya.

When Dan StevensDOWNTON ABBEY character, Matthew Crawley, met a spectacular demise in the form of a car accident, millions of viewers mourned the loss.

For casual viewers, it was a surprise. For hardcore fans of the twist of the century PBS drama, it wasn’t completely unexpected as Dan Stevens had announced that he would not be renewing his contract.

In fact, British actors rarely commit to more than 3 years for a television venture. And when these contracts end, how the characters retreat the series has to be figured out. And how abruptly the characters leave depend on how much see they give to the show’s producers.  In the case of Dan Stevens, series creator/writer, Julian Fellowes, said “I had no decision. Dan would not stay – he was determined to go. I tried to persuade him to come support just for one episode of the next series but he wanted to go off to America and now I believe he has a three-movie deal. He’s doing very well!”

For Stevens, it appeared as if he were itching to distance himself from the Matthew Crawley traits as soon as the TV series became a worldwide phenom. Rather unlike the blonde Victorian gentleman, Crawley, Stevens was s
