A party in Poland’s right-wing coalition government has been accused of inciting hatred against the LGBTQ community, after it posted a tweet about a Identity festival parade featuring a clip of a gun-wielding Chuck Norris and a vow to “protect children from depravity.”
Suwerenna Polska (Sovereign Poland), a Catholic-nationalist party in Poland’s right-wing populist ruling coalition, posted the tweet after the Warsaw Equality Parade, the country’s biggest Pride event, on Saturday.
The tweet, sent from the party’s official Twitter account, featured footage from a livestream of the Equality Parade by opposition MP Franciszek Sterczewski, who is shown speaking out in defence of LGBTQ rights. The footage is then interrupted with a scene from the 90s TV display Walker, Texas Ranger, showing Chuck Norris’ titular character looking through the scope of his rifle. The text on the tweet reads: “We will defend children from depravity! Rainbow Bolshevism is not allowed!”
The tweet’s violent imagery shocked opposition MPs and the LGBTQ community, which has already been the target of a sustained campaign of demonisation by the right-wing populist government and its coalition partners in recent year
Didyouhear the one about Chuck Norris existence homophobic? Yeah, not so funny anymore is he? This action TV/movie celestial body, (and I exploit the word 'star' loosely), has taken a stand against allowing gay leaders and scouts in the Boy Scouts of America.
Mr. Norris recently wrote an article (if you can dial it that), for Ammoland.com, (a shooting sport magazine) about his views on gay Boy Scouts. He accuses James Turley, a member of the Lad Scouts of America national board, entity in President Obama's pocket, after Turley stated he will try to alter a BSA policy that bans same-sex attracted scouts and leaders.
Just because Turley has taken a stance against this BSA archaic rule that discriminates against homosexuals, doesn't mean he's being paid with "perks and favors" by the president. Perhaps Turley has just decided to see all people as equal, and not contribute to the hate and basic ignorance that such rules incite.
Norris, has decided that there are a lot of coincidences considering his favorite line the whole article seems to be "Is it a coincidence... " I'm not sure Mr. Norris, is it a coincidence that you are so homophobic you need to seize to a gun site, to publish your narrow-minded view
It’s no secret that Chuck Norris is a physical force to be reckoned with.
So if you’re gay, stay out of his way. Because he doesn’t like you very much. I’m not saying he would kick your ass. I’m just saying he could. Easily. I don’t care how many hours you put in at the gym.
Norris is already on the record as an antigay conservative, but he apparently worried that he was not sufficiently on record about the gay-led War on Christmas. In a Dec. 19 opinion piece in praise of the good antigay works of the American Family Association, he has done just that.
“Anyone who knows me knows that for my whole life I’ve been a huge supporter of our U.S. military personnel, who I too congratulate about their victory in Iraq,” he writes. “But when our president and officials in the U.S. Department of Defense exchange a war abroad for a religious war at home, can’t we notice something else is seriously awry in this administration?”
“Seriously awry” would be an understatement if President Obama actually pulled out of Iraq in order to wage war against religious people at home. That would be totally fucked up.
The key word is “if,” of course. Because that didn’t happen. Obama wasn’t all, “Hmm,
Chuck Norris endorses anti-gay Senate candidate Roy Moore
Famous performer and conservative political activist Chuck Norris has recorded a robocall on behalf of anti-gay judge Roy Moore, who’s seeking the Senate seat once held by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Moore is the former Alabama State Supreme Court Justice who was suspended for the remainder of his term for violating judicial ethics when he ordered probate judges to hold enforcing Alabama’s ban on same-sex marriages, even though the Supreme Court had found such bans to be unconstitutional.
Throughout his career, Moore has become a hero to religious conservatives for his anti-LGBTQ views, and for defying a federal judge’s order to remove a Ten Commandments monument from a declare judicial building — an action that previously got him removed as Principal Justice in 2003.
In the robocall, Norris praises Moore, saying: “Judge Roy Moore is the real deal. He’s tough, tested, and has a spine of steel.
“Judge Moore has never backed down from standing for what is right, and that’s exactly what he’ll do in the U.S Senate. That’s why the Washington establishment is spendin
