¿Qué es la sexualidad?
La sexualidad se refiere a cómo te sientes y actúas en términos de sexo. Hay algunos términos relacionados que pueden ser confusos de entender.
- Orientación sexual. Se refiere al sexo, o género, de las personas que te atraen sexualmente. No hay un tipo incorrecto de orientación.
- Puedes ser homosexual, queer o lesbiana si sientes atracción por personas de tu mismo sexo.
- Puedes ser heterosexual si sientes atracción por personas del sexo opuesto al tuyo. La palabra “hetero” puede usarse para referirse a hombres y mujeres heterosexuales.
- Puedes ser bisexual si sientes atracción por ambos sexos.
- Puedes ser pansexual si sientes atracción por personas independientemente de su sexo o género. La palabra “queer” puede usarse para referirse a hombres y mujeres pansexuales. A veces también se lo llama “polisexualidad” u “omnisexualidad”.
- Puedes ser asexual si no te sientes atraído por ninguno de los dos sexos.
- Preferencia sexual. Esto se refiere a cualidades específicas de las personas que te atraen sexualmente. Por ejemplo, alto, rubio y musculoso. No hay preferencias incorrectas.
