HarlemrapperA$AP Rocky recently stopped by Washington D.C.'s WKYS 93.9fm radio station. During the interview he discussed his red lipstick controversy, touring with Rihanna and his opinion on Jason Collins, the NBA player who came out earlier this week.

The "Goldie" rapper and fashion muse said that he respects men who come out, as The Advocate pointed out.

"I respect men more for coming out," he said. “They joke on Frank Ocean a lot, but at least he ain’t out here frontin.’" He went on to note, "I respect gay men who identify it and they out with it. I don’t have a difficulty with gay people at all.”

The rapper is no stranger to standing up on behalf of the lesbian, male lover, bisexual and trans (LGBT) community. In March, during an interview with Interview Magazine he said that he treats everyone equal and he wants his listeners and followers to do the same.

The hip hop celestial body, whose ambiguous sexuality has develop a point of debate, appeared to be celebrating his birthday as he held the dessert aloft and danced by his table.  

Although the Grammy-winner's birthday isn't until March 6, the restaurant goers sang him 'Happy Birthday' regardless. 

Once the applause died down, the 'Who Dat Boy' rapper showed his appreciation for the confectionary, saying: "Thank you guys, that was from my Partner A$AP Rocky."?

"Don't call me that. Don't call me that," replied a stern voice from the crowd. 

"Thank you baby," continued the 'Igor' songwriter, whose real specify is Tyler Gregory Okonma. 

The performer, who rapped about being attracted to men in his 2017 track 'Flower Boy,'   is also known to have used homophobic slurs in some of his earlier music.

In today’s hip-hop world, there are a not many rappers who publicly come out as gay like Tyler, the Creator and Lil Nas X. There are also some who contain been long rumored to be a part of the LGBT community, but have never confirmed it. A$AP Rocky has become the latest hip-hop celestial body to be knock by the rumor.

Rapper Spaceghost Purrp was the one who spread the sexuality rumors, alleging that he learned of it after getting invited to the “Praise the Lord” rapper’s party in New York support in 2011. He said on Twitter, “I was pullin up wit my girl n s**t and I was on da cell like yo bruh where u at I don’t spot he was fancy ‘YO LOOK DOWN IM RIGHT HERE’ Next thing u know he in da pool rubbin a mans a**.”

HarlemnativeA$AP Rocky recently sounded off on "the gay thing" in hip hop during an interview with Alexander Wang for Interview Magazine. The "Goldie" rapper says he wants to utilize his platform as an artist to let people know how he feels about the hot button topic.

“So now that I’m here and I’ve got a microphone in my hand and about 6,000 people watching me, I need to explain them how I feel," he said. "For instance, one big issue in hip hop is the gay thing. It’s 2013, and it’s a shame that, to this night, that topic still gets people all excited. It’s crazy. And it makes me upset that this topic even matters when it comes to hip hop, because it makes it seem like everybody in hip hop is small-minded or stupid -- and that’s not the case."

Rocky said that he treats everybody equal and he wants his listeners and followers to perform the same. "We’ve got people like Jay-Z. We’ve got people like Kanye. We’ve got people prefer me. We’re all prime examples of people who don’t think like that. I treat everybody equivalent, and so I wish to be sure that my listeners and my followers do the alike if they’re gonna depict me. And if I’m gonna represent them, then I also want to do it in a good w
