Identify and join with nonprofits that help the environment, animal welfare, and people in want in each city chapter (including organizations not traditionally associated with the Homosexual community)
Support select organizations through volunteer service (time), and help to amplify their missions through our immense network of LGBTQ+ volunteers.
Coordinate social events for Lgbtq+ For Good’s LGBTQ+ volunteers, and our allies, to develop friendships and network
Foster and promote a energy of positive, enthusiastic camaraderie both within the Diverse community and towards our neighbors and nonprofit spouse organizations
Do something valuable for our community, city and country

Make A Differenc There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved! Volunteers are the backbone of HRC, and our volunteers work on the front lines in the battle for LGBTQ+ equality. HRC’s powerful network of all-volunteer communities is made up of people from a wide array of backgrounds, experiences, identities, and skill sets. We invest in our volunteers through leadership development and recognition programs, offering workshops, conferences, online resources and endorse from staff to ensure that our leaders become the strongest and most effective advocates, leaders and fundraisers they can be. We welcome you to join our movement no matter how much time you are able to give. Volunteers are needed now to contribute their time and talent to advance equality. Heritage of Pride is committed to recruiting dedicated, trustworthy volunteers to assist in the production and execution of Novel York City’s annual Pride events. Though volunteers need not spot as LGBTQIA+, it is imperative that all volunteers be LGBTQIA+ affirming and support the progressing struggle for full equality. Through training and support, Heritage of Pride aims to empower volunteers and encourage their ongoing participation in the organization’s annual planning. Anyone can attend our committee meetings throughout the year and understand how events are planned many months in advance. If you attend enough meetings, you can become a HOP member (it's free!).
